Once upon a time there was a shy and curious girl. She would observe and see a lot without being seen. Growing up, she perfected that skill. Later she picked up a camera and realized she could continue doing just that: see quietly.
I started shooting film and spent many hours in a darkroom some ten years ago. Although I still shoot film (35 mm and medium format) from time to time, I now use digital imagery to capture moments and engrave time. I have shot dozens of weddings all different in style and venue. I also assist other photographers because I enjoy it so much. I even have the pleasure of creating timeless heirlooms during family portrait sessions.
My immense sensitivity enables me to capture fleeting instants when a person's true colors are momentarily and barely perceptible. Time stands still for 1/250th of a second. I don't know why but I feel it; I feel I have to shoot.
I record your story and deliver images that speak to you and your beautiful day.
If the images make you smile and maybe even cry with joy, I'm happy. I know I have done my job. ![]()
